Calculate the power of a wind turbine based on size, wind speed and air density. The radius corresponds to the length of a rotor blade. Wind speed refers to a specific point in time, not an average speed. The air density, i.e. the mass of air per room, depends on air pressure, temperature and humidity. 1.2 is a good average value at sea level, see air density calculator for calculation. The efficiency indicates what proportion of the wind that passes through the area covered by the rotors is converted into electrical energy. The theoretical maximum for efficiency is 16/27 or 59.26%.
