Awestruck? This is said to be the world’s largest solar power plant on a ‘single location’, and it’s in India! The plant is situated in Tamil Nadu’s Kamuthi and was unveiled in the second half of 2016. The plant has been set up by Adani Green Energy, a part of the Adani Group. The 648 megawatts (MW) solar power plant has been set up at a cost of Rs 4,550 crore. We take a look at some beautiful images of the solar power plant, and highlight its importance.
